The client had an extensive wardrobe distributed across two residences, with a calendar spanning professional commitments, international travel, private events and seasonal stays.
Although the collection contained exceptional pieces, it lacked consistent oversight. Garments requiring alterations, specialist cleaning or repair remained out of rotation, while unnecessary duplication had developed between locations.
Wardrobe decisions were often made re actively. Travel preparation, fittings and event dressing required repeated coordination, placing additional demands on both the client and their personal assistant.
The client needed the wardrobe to function as a managed system. Every piece needed to be maintained, appropriately located and ready when required.
-
We began with a private consultation to understand the client’s lifestyle, schedule, preferences and the role each residence played throughout the year.
Both wardrobes were reviewed and documented. Pieces were assessed to determine what should be retained, altered, restored, relocated or released. This established a clear picture of the collection and revealed where genuine gaps remained.
Alterations, repairs, specialist cleaning and preservation were coordinated with trusted providers. Valuable garments received the appropriate care, while pieces awaiting attention were returned to use rather than remaining forgotten.
The collection was organised around season, location and purpose. Each residence retained the wardrobe required for its climate, social context and the client’s routine, without creating unnecessary duplication.
Upcoming travel and commitments were planned in advance. Complete looks were prepared, garments were checked and travel wardrobes were coordinated around the destination, itinerary and expected occasions.
Ongoing communication was managed through the client’s personal assistant. Fittings, deliveries, sourcing and garment care were handled through one point of contact, requiring minimal involvement from the client.
-
The client gained a wardrobe that remained organised, maintained and prepared across both residences.
Garments requiring attention returned to active use, while thoughtful redistribution made each wardrobe more relevant to its location. Further purchases became more deliberate because the collection and its genuine requirements were clearly understood.
Travel and event preparation became considerably easier. Appropriate looks could be prepared in advance without repeated searching, last-minute alterations or unnecessary replacement purchases.
Most importantly, wardrobe management no longer demanded the client’s time. The practical work continued quietly in the background, allowing the collection to respond effortlessly to the life around it.

“I no longer have to remember what is where, what needs attention or whether the right pieces are ready for an upcoming trip. Everything is anticipated and handled before it becomes something I need to think about.”
